The unfortunate part of all this is that the owners allow their young son - maybe 10-years-old - to answer the phone and take the order, he also rings up the orders, takes your money and hands you your order while his mother sits in the corner on her phone.

Oh, and the kid running the register after school knows his stuff. You'll often see him deftly running the till, taking phone orders, and helping watch his little sisters. I love seeing parents teach their kids the value of doing good work at a young age, and I love the idea that the whole family is involved and invested in making their business thrive. That kid appreciates the food in his belly because he earned it.

The takeout food is amazing here and you get a huge portion(it's usually so much that you can barely close the lid and I always have leftovers). Only problem I have is I don't like that they're so understaffed, that the 10 year old son of the owner has to run the register. Some nights, I've been in there and it's only the owner and her son in the whole place, running everything. I don't trust a 10 year old with money/my debit card. They don't have the best customer service. They seem impatient with customers, especially the younger girls who work there.

Mom & Pop, family run, small buffet lunch that is simply GREAT. $5 and it tastes wonderful. Just try it. If your looking for the huge, mega choice Chinese buffet then go there. If much fewer choices but really good food at an unbelievable price sounds appealing.......go. Support your local community small business at the same time.

Great food & great service. They actually listen to you when you ask for your food to be cooked a certain way! Best egg drop soup ever!

The US does have child labor laws for a reason. If we go back, I will insist on talking with the adult owners AND check our order before we leave.

I don't normally do reviews except when there is a problem. China Cafe usually has good, plentiful, food at a good price. However, the last two times we have ordered, we have not gotten what we wanted. Since I call it in for takeout and the bag is fully sealed when we pick it up, I have not been checking it. This will change if we go back.

Mei Fun noodles are amazing, Singapore Spicy (commonly called drunken noodles elsewhere) are addictive The regular dishes are pretty good, but like everywhere else in a 50 mile radius, the fried rice sucks. If you like your food to actually have a little heat, you will have to really convince them, but once they get to know you, they'll make it hot the first time. Don't blame them, keeps them from throwing away food, cause you can always make it hotter.
